Abbey Cook is a trend forecaster based in New York City.

Abbey Cook has over 15 years of trend forecasting experience and has traveled to 50+ countries in order to seek out and create lifestyle and fashion trends. She has presented her research and forecasts to major retailers, brands and mills throughout Asia, Europe, North and South America. As a keynote speaker she has been featured at international trade shows including Première Vision & Texworld in Paris, Magic in Las Vegas, Intertextile in Shanghai and Colombiatex in Medellin.  She has also been a guest speaker at Parsons, FIT, Pratt and Baruch College and is currently a recurring guest lecturer on trend forecasting at The School of New York Times

 Abbey developed her career in Paris designing fabrics for Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier at the textile atelier, Malhia Kent. She has worked at Martha Stewart Living, Kohler, The Color Association of the U.S., Cotton Incorporated and The Doneger Group.  She is currently a consultant, creating custom trend forecasts for trend, experiential marketing and branding agencies. She is also a lifestyle and design contributor for Giadzy, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis’ lifestyle website.

Abbey, along with her wife, is a co-founder of the brand The Taste Curators, where they set out to inspire joy through the connections of food, fashion and color.
