For over 12 years, Abbey Cook has crisscrossed every continent several times over in order to seek out and create lifestyle and fashion trends 18 months ahead of the selling season.  She has presented her research and forecasts to major retailers, brands and mills throughout Asia, Europe, North America and South America.  Additionally, she has presented at international trade shows including Première Vision in Paris, Intertextile in Shanghai, and Colombiatex in Medellin. 


Her trends combine color, art, food, travel, architecture, technology and politics in unusual ways to create comprehensive and compelling stories.  Using strong visuals and multiple platforms for research, her trends are unexpected and thought-provoking.  


Her expertise includes the fashion and denim industries, but also creates forecasts for the interior, culinary, marketing and hospitality industries. 


Abbey developed her career at Martha Stewart Living, Kohler, The Color Association of the U.S., Cotton Incorporated and The Doneger Group.  She is currently based in Brooklyn, NY as a trend and creative consultant.
